Download your Truist statements
Where to find Truist business checking and card statements and how to get them into ZeraBooks as PDFs.
Download a statement
Truist keeps statements in the documents area of online banking.
Sign in at truist.com on a computer.
Choose the account.
Open "Documents" and choose the statement month.
Download the statement as a PDF.
In ZeraBooks, click Banks & Cards › Upload statement, choose the matching account and upload the file. See Upload a bank or card statement.
How far back you can go
Which statements Truist shows online depends on the account. If a month is missing, ask Truist for it.
PDF or CSV
Download the PDF statement. ZeraBooks reads the printed opening and closing balances from it and uses them to prove the month is complete. See How ZeraBooks proves a statement.
Truist also lets you download recent account history (up to 18 months). A CSV works in ZeraBooks too, but it usually has no opening or closing balance. After you upload one, enter both balances exactly as printed on the statement with Fix statement details… in Reconciliations. See Fix a month that doesn't tie.
Only need the transactions in a spreadsheet? Once you have the Truist PDF, convert it to Excel or CSV with the ZeraBooks bank statement converter.
Important: Former BB&T and SunTrust customers may use a different Truist sign-in or menu. Sign in where you normally bank; the statements are in its documents area.
Frequently Asked Questions
My account was at BB&T or SunTrust. Where are the old statements?
Truist holds them. Look in "Documents" for the account, or ask Truist for months it doesn't show.
Where are my Truist card statements?
Open the card account, then its statements or documents. Upload them into a credit card account in ZeraBooks.
Can ZeraBooks connect to my Truist account directly?
No. ZeraBooks has no bank feeds and never asks for your Truist sign-in. Download each statement and upload it.
Which statements should I download?
Every month from the date your books start, for every account, oldest first. Upload one account's statement per file: each statement's opening balance is checked against the previous month's closing balance. See Upload a bank or card statement.
