Download your Novo statements
Where to find Novo monthly statements and how to get them into ZeraBooks as PDFs.
Download a statement
Novo keeps statements in your settings.
Sign in to Novo on a computer.
Open the profile menu at the top right and choose "Settings".
Open "Statements".
Choose the month and download the PDF.
In ZeraBooks, click Banks & Cards › Upload statement, choose the matching account and upload the file. See Upload a bank or card statement.
How far back you can go
Novo statements go back to when the account was opened. Each month's statement is ready on the 1st of the next month.
PDF or CSV
Download the PDF statement. ZeraBooks reads the printed opening and closing balances from it and uses them to prove the month is complete. See How ZeraBooks proves a statement.
Novo also lets you export transactions as a CSV. A CSV works in ZeraBooks too, but it usually has no opening or closing balance. After you upload one, enter both balances exactly as printed on the statement with Fix statement details… in Reconciliations. See Fix a month that doesn't tie.
Only need the transactions in a spreadsheet? Once you have the Novo PDF, convert it to Excel or CSV with the ZeraBooks bank statement converter.
Important: Novo doesn't offer statements for part of a month. Wait for the full monthly statement on the 1st.
Frequently Asked Questions
This month's Novo statement isn't there yet. Why?
Novo makes the statement available on the 1st of the next month.
Can ZeraBooks connect to my Novo account directly?
No. ZeraBooks has no bank feeds and never asks for your Novo sign-in. Download each statement and upload it.
Which statements should I download?
Every month from the date your books start, for every account, oldest first. Upload one account's statement per file: each statement's opening balance is checked against the previous month's closing balance. See Upload a bank or card statement.
